Disney Dole Whip is a delicious frozen dessert that has become a beloved treat for visitors to the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland.

Made with a blend of pineapple juice and whipped into the texture of a soft serve ice cream, this refreshing snack has a tropical flavor that is perfect for hot days in the parks.
DID YOU KNOW?
All of the Dole Whip in Disney World is vegan, with the exception of the Coconut, which contains milk.
History of Disney Dole Whip
The origin of Disney Dole Whip dates back to the 1980s when the Walt Disney Company formed a partnership with the Dole Food Company. The collaboration aimed to promote Dole’s products in the Disney Parks while offering guests a unique and delicious snack option. The first Dole Whip location opened at Disneyland’s Adventureland in 1986 and became an instant hit. Since then, Disney Dole Whip has become a staple of the parks, and visitors continue to enjoy this sweet treat to this day.
Where to Get Disney Dole Whip
Disney Dole Whip is available at several locations across the Walt Disney World Resort. Visitors can find it at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom, Tamu Tamu Refreshments in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Swirls on the Water in Disney Springs.
As of 1 July 2023, Dole Whip is also available at Shades of Green’s Java Cafe! $5 small, $7 large.
Newest Flavors of Disney Dole Whip
While the original pineapple flavor remains the most popular, Disney has introduced several new flavors of Dole Whip over the years. At Pineapple Lanai, visitors can now enjoy a refreshing lime flavor or a sweet and tangy lemon flavor. At the Tropical Hideaway, guests can try the tropical twist, which is a combination of pineapple, raspberry, and orange flavors.
We have even seen Dole Whip used in specialty cones over at Storybook Treats. Over the years we have seen the Rapunzel cone, the Peter Pan float, and most recently, the Snow White cone!
Aloha Isle

Coconut Dole Whip
Aloha Isle offers Pineapple and Coconut Dole Whip solo or swirled with vanilla. Raspberry is also being offered at this time!
Flavor Flights at Swirls on the Water
For those looking to try multiple flavors of Disney Dole Whip, Swirls on the Water in Disney Springs offers flavor flights. This option is perfect for sharing with friends or family and trying out new flavors.
Swirls on the Water is really pushing the envelope with the flavors, too. When it first opened it came out swinging with Habanero Lime Dole Whip! We have enjoyed Cookie Dough and Strawberry Cheesecake. It’s no OG pineapple, but it was good and fun.
Sunshine Tree Terrace
Sunshine Tree Terrace in Magic Kingdom offers Orange and Strawberry versions of Dole Whip. They also have vanilla and chocolate soft serve.
Dole Whip Floats
In addition to the classic soft-serve Dole Whip, Aloha Isle and Sunshine Tree Terrace in Magic Kingdom offer Dole Whip floats. The float includes Dole Whip on top of pineapple or other juices and is a great way to cool off on a hot day in the park.
We love when Disney creates snacks based on our favorite movies and characters. Currently, Sunshine Tree Terrace has a float dedicated to the Pixar short, Lava. Love it!
With Alcohol at the Polynesian
For those over 21 years old looking to add some extra flair to their Disney Dole Whip experience, the Polynesian Resort offers a spiked version at the Pineapple Lanai. The alcoholic version of Dole Whip is available in the traditional pineapple flavor or pineapple/vanilla swirl and has a shot of rum to add to it. This treat is a perfect way to unwind and relax in the tropical setting of the Polynesian.
In conclusion, Disney Dole Whip is a classic treat that has become a beloved staple of Walt Disney World. Whether you prefer the original pineapple flavor or want to try out new flavors and variations, there are plenty of options to satisfy your craving. So next time you visit the parks, be sure to grab a cup or cone of Dole Whip and enjoy a taste of tropical paradise.
