Base Ticket Offices have been given the cutoff date for refunds of 2020 Disney Military Salute Ticket.

This is for Unused 2020 Disney Armed Forces Salute Tickets that cannot be used by 26 Sept 2021.
If you purchased these highly discounted tickets prior to the Disney Parks closure and want to return them to your Base Ticket Office because you will be unable to use them before they expire, 7 September is the last day that you can do so. This notice was give to Air Force Ticket Offices but the same should apply to all services.
Note: Your Base may set an earlier date to give them time to process. My Base Ticket Office’s is 25 August.
Many Bases are offering refunds on these non-refundable tickets due to the unprecedented circumstances, while some are not.
Refusing to offer refunds, while incredibly wrong, is a local decision, not a national one. May bases are offering discounts.
If your base has refused, it is not because they were told not to. MDT suggests elevating their refusal to the local military commander that your ticket office falls under, e.g. the Base Services Commander on an Air Force Base.
This cut off is driven by the need to close out the fiscal year accounting.

Steve,
I have clients with 6 Armed Forces Salute tickets that expire this September 26. Can they be upgraded to the 2021 ticket that expire in December or do they need to get a refund and then rebuy new Armed Forces salute tickets? Same question for 6 regular military tickets that were purchased last year.
Hi Anita,
Yes, for WDW the 2020 tickets can be upgraded to 2021 with the 16 Dec expiration.

They may be able to do this over the phone (some have). If not they’ll have to do it after arrival.
No news for DLR though.
