When Frozen released in 2013 it took the world by storm.

Even to this day, there are Frozen fans that go to Walt Disney World and want to experience all things Frozen. Grab your sleigh, it’s time to plan the ultimate Frozen day in Walt Disney World!
PRO-TIP: You know those bubble wands around the parks that you see the kids carrying? Olaf has one too that blows snow! Okay, it’s actually “snope”, which is snow made from soap, but nonetheless, you can create your own flurry everywhere you go!
TRIVIA: Disney World was taken by surprise with Frozen’s popularity and scrambled to inject Frozen into the parks. Stage Shows and Parades were the easiest and quickest options and were easily implemented, but then they went one step further and opened Oaken’s Skating Rink in 2014 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! In this short lived offering, you could go into this building which was quite cold and rent skates to show off your moves. There was even a snow area where you could make snowballs or a little snow man, and of course they had drinks and snacks for sale.
Quick Note About Park Hopper Tickets…
There are 4 parks in Walt Disney World, and for our ultimate Frozen day we will be visiting 3 of them. To do this we will need a park hopper ticket. This ticket allows guests to visit more than one park per day.
Frozen Ever After in EPCOT
We’re starting the day off right with a trip to Norway in EPCOT. One of the most popular rides in EPCOT is Frozen Ever After, which features, of course, Frozen!
Prepare to be whisked away into the enchanting world of Arendelle at the captivating Frozen Ever After attraction in Epcot. Nestled in the Norway pavilion of the World Showcase, this immersive experience invites you to embark on a magical boat journey through the heartwarming story of Anna, Elsa, and their friends.
As you step inside the grand royal reception hall of Arendelle, the stunning attention to detail immediately transports you to the beloved animated film. From the sparkling chandeliers to the intricate tapestries, every element recreates the charm and elegance of the kingdom. Be sure to look for fun easter eggs about Kristoff’s ice business!
As your boat gently glides through the icy wonders, be prepared to be mesmerized by the iconic musical numbers and heart-stirring scenes that unfold before your eyes. Feel the chill in the air as Elsa conjures her icy powers, and join in on the fun as Olaf, Sven, and Kristoff add their signature humor to the adventure. In fact, imagineers have said that the Olaf animatronic is one of the most complex in Walt Disney World!
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
If you’re hungry for more Norwegian culture, literally, then you will love the next stop! We’re going to Akershus Royal Banquet Hall next to Frozen Ever After where we can enjoy a lunch that is as close to an Arendelle feast as you’re going to get.
Step inside this enchanting restaurant, inspired by a medieval Norwegian castle, and be immersed in the grandeur and charm of the Frozen kingdom. The majestic setting, adorned with soaring archways, sparkling chandeliers, and intricate tapestries, sets the stage for an unforgettable dining adventure. As you’re escorted to your table, prepare to be greeted by a procession of Disney Princesses who will make their way around the room, stopping at each table for greetings and photos. This magical interaction allows you to create cherished memories as you dine like royalty.
NOTE: Anna and Elsa are not at Akershus, but don’t worry, we’ll see them later!
The culinary delights at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall are as delightful as the ambiance, offering a taste of the flavors found in Arendelle. The lunch menu showcases a delectable selection of Norwegian-inspired dishes. From hearty Viking-inspired entrées to fresh seafood options and mouth watering desserts, there’s something to please every palate. Savor the delicate flavors of Norwegian smoked salmon, indulge in savory dishes like traditional Kjøttkake (Norwegian meatballs), and satisfy your sweet tooth with tempting treats like the signature Princess Cake.
Meet Anna and Elsa
Perhaps the highlight of a Frozen fan’s day would be actually meeting Anna and Elsa! Once again in the Norway pavilion in EPCOT, you will find Anna and Elsa’s Sommerhaus where you have the chance to have a special one on one meet and greet.
It’s important to note, however, Elsa will not be wearing her trademark blue dress and look like she’s poised and ready to belt out “Let It Go”. Ever since Frozen II premiered, Anna and Elsa have changed their look to reflect their characters’ growth. Anna is now Queen Anna and Elsa is dressed as the fifth spirit.
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration
Time to wave goodbye to EPCOT and hop on the Skyliner to Disney’s Hollywood Studio for a live show like no other.
For Frozen fans seeking an interactive and joyous celebration of their favorite film, the “For the First Time in Forever – A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” at Hollywood Studios is an absolute must-see. This live show takes you on a journey through the magical kingdom of Arendelle, led by hilarious royal historians who share the story of Anna and Elsa in a fun and engaging way.
As the show unfolds, you’ll find yourself surrounded by fellow fans, belting out beloved songs from the film, including the unforgettable “Let It Go” and “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” With the lyrics displayed on screens, everyone can sing along with gusto, creating a truly magical and immersive experience. This show is a perfect opportunity to embrace your inner Elsa or Anna, join in on the musical extravaganza, and feel the powerful connection with fellow Frozen enthusiasts.
What sets this Frozen sing-along celebration apart is the infectious energy and humor of the talented performers who play the Arendelle historians bring the story to life. Their lively banter makes for an unforgettable experience that keeps fans of all ages thoroughly entertained. But what really gets the audience’s attention is the snow that happens during Elsa’s favorite song! Only Disney Imagineers can make it snow in Orlando, Florida!
Meet Olaf
Get ready for another meet and greet, this time with that funny, summer loving snowman, Olaf.
You’ll find Olaf at Hollywood Studio’s Celebrity Spotlight in the Echo Lake section of the Studios. He’s set up to greet you on his favorite beach spot.
Happily Ever After Fireworks in the Magic Kingdom
For our last stop of the day, take a bus over to the Magic Kingdom where we’ll be reminded to say goodbye to the pain of the past and that some people are worth melting for. Happily Ever After combines songs, scenes, and characters from the Disney movies we love, including Frozen, to create a show that is just so good and movie, it might just bring a tear to your eye!
Something about fireworks just feels like a conclusion. You have seen and done all that there is to do with Frozen in Walt Disney World. Take in the show and enjoy the best day ever.
