Restaurantosaurus: A Prehistoric Pit Stop for Dinosaurs and Delicious Eats

Restaurantosaurus is a counter-service restaurant that is tucked away in DinoLand U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, offering a fun and quirky dining experience that fits perfectly with the land’s playful theme. It’s located near attractions like DINOSAUR and the Boneyard, making it a convenient stop for a meal after exploring the area. The restaurant’s exterior is styled like an old-fashioned dinosaur dig site turned college hangout, complete with fossil displays and humorous signs that make the whole area feel like a blend of a museum and a frat house.
Ambiance
The ambiance at Restaurantosaurus is delightfully kitschy, with a mix of prehistoric decor and college dorm room vibes. Inside, you’ll find mismatched furniture, dinosaur-themed artwork, and plenty of humorous touches that bring the theme to life. The walls are adorned with notes, sketches, and “artifacts” left behind by the paleontology students who supposedly use the site as their base camp. There’s even a vintage Airstream trailer parked inside, doubling as extra seating. Whether you’re dining in one of the cozy rooms or out on the patio, the atmosphere is casual, fun, and full of character.
