Dockside Diner is located along the serene shores of Echo Lake at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, offering a unique spot to grab a bite while taking in the sights of this charming area.
Positioned near popular attractions like For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration and across the lake from the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! this eatery shaped like a ship docked at the side of the lake is hard to miss with its vintage boat-shaped structure. The ship is named the S.S. Down The Hatch.
The surrounding area evokes the feel of a bustling harbor, complete with retro touches that transport you back to a simpler time.
Ambiance
The ambiance at Dockside Diner is laid-back and quintessentially American, perfect for a quick, casual meal. The restaurant’s design resembles an old-fashioned dockside eatery, with nautical elements like life preservers, fishing nets, and buoys enhancing the theme.

Dockside Diner serves up a variety of Hot Dog options (gone is the seafood fare of years past). The menu features favorites like foot-long chili-cheese hot dogs, the California BLTA Dog with Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, and Avocado, and Bacon Macaroni & Cheese each offering a delicious, no-frills dining experience. Note, that these are all-beef hotdogs.
The menu also includes a selection of shakes, soft drinks, and draft beers, making it easy to pair your meal with your beverage of choice.
Mobile Order
Mobile Order is available at Dockside Diner, as it is at most Quick Service locations, providing a convenient way to grab your meal without the wait. By using the My Disney Experience app, you can place your order ahead of time and pick it up at the counter when it’s ready. This service is particularly handy during peak meal times, ensuring you spend more time enjoying the park and less time waiting in line.
