Chill out with blue or green milk at this iconic stop in the Black Spire Outpost.
Location
📍 Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The Milk Stand is located in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, right in the heart of the Black Spire Outpost. You’ll find it near the First Order Stage, directly across from First Order Cargo and down the alley from Oga’s Cantina.
This open-air drink stall sits along one of the busier walkways in the land, but it’s hard to miss—just look for the glowing canisters and guests posing with colorful frozen drinks.
Ambiance
The Milk Stand has the feel of a rugged spaceport refueling station, with glowing tanks, frosted dispensers, and Batuu-style graphics advertising the mysterious “blue and green milk.” Like most of Galaxy’s Edge, the design is immersive and makes you feel like a traveler on another planet.
It’s a walk-up kiosk with no dedicated seating. There are a few nearby ledges and low walls you can lean against while you sip, or you can walk with your drink while exploring the outpost. The area can get crowded, but it’s also full of great photo ops—especially if you’re holding one of those brightly colored milks.
Menu
This stand serves two signature drinks:
- Blue Milk – A frozen, plant-based blend with a tropical fruity flavor. Despite the name, it’s sweeter and citrusy than milky.
- Green Milk – Another plant-based frozen drink, this one with a more floral, zesty, and less sweet taste. Some love it, others… not so much.
Both drinks are made with a rice and coconut milk base, so they’re dairy-free and vegan-friendly. Texture-wise, they’re closer to a soft frozen slush than a smoothie.
If you’re feeling adventurous (or need a break from the kids), you can also try the alcoholic versions:
- Blue Milk Cooler – Spiked with Bacardi rum
- Green Milk Cooler – Spiked with Patrón Silver tequila
They’re served in the same style cup, with a slightly higher price tag and a more noticeable kick.
You’ll also find bottled Coca-Cola products in standard packaging here, but the milks are definitely the stars.
Mobile Order
Yes, Mobile Order is available at the Milk Stand!
This is a huge time-saver, especially on hot afternoons when the line can get long. It’s quick and convenient—just place your order through the My Disney Experience app and swing by when you’re ready.
Pro tip: plan your order to be ready right after you ride Rise of the Resistance, or when you’re passing through the area midday for a refreshment break.
Military Tips
The Milk Stand is a fun spot for military families to grab a unique Star Wars treat, but here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Blue and Green Milk are polarizing. Some love the sweet, fruity taste; others aren’t fans of the texture or flavor. If you’ve never had them before, consider ordering one to share first.
- A cold milk is a good way to cool down during the heat of the day, especially if you’re planning to stay in Galaxy’s Edge for a while.
- Pair it with a nearby snack—like the Outpost Mix from Kat Saka’s Kettle or a wrap from Ronto Roasters—for a complete Batuuan refreshment experience.
Wrap-Up
So, is the Milk Stand a must-try or a skip? Honestly, it depends. If you’re a die-hard Star Wars fan or just love trying new things at Disney, it’s definitely worth checking out. If you prefer familiar flavors or are traveling on a tighter snack budget, you might want to spend those dollars elsewhere.
That said, it’s hard to beat sipping a blue milk in the middle of Batuu with a view of a TIE fighter and stormtroopers marching past.
