Discover bold Moroccan flavors in this beautifully themed World Showcase spot.
Location
📍EPCOT –Â World Showcase –Â Morocco
Tangierine Café is located in the Morocco Pavilion of EPCOT’s World Showcase. You’ll find it tucked just off the main promenade, near the front of the pavilion, across from the outdoor water fountain, making it easy to swing by as you explore the World Showcase loop.
Ambiance
Tangierine Café is a visual treat. The architecture and decor reflect traditional Moroccan design, with intricate mosaic tilework, carved wood details, and wrought-iron accents. The atmosphere feels like an open-air marketplace with a mix of indoor and covered outdoor seating.
The interior space offers a peaceful escape from the Florida sun and theme park crowds, while the open-air courtyard is shaded and surrounded by beautiful stucco buildings and authentic Moroccan design elements. During festivals, this spot often has a livelier energy as guests line up for limited-time dishes.
It’s one of those places where you might forget you’re in the middle of a theme park—and that’s part of the charm.
Menu
Tangierine Café: Flavors of the Medina serves up a rotating selection of Moroccan-inspired dishes, changing with EPCOT’s seasonal festivals like Flower & Garden, Food & Wine, and Festival of the Holidays. While this location once offered a permanent quick-service menu (with items like lamb shawarma and chicken platters), it currently operates primarily as a festival food booth.
That said, the offerings are almost always worth a stop. Typical festival dishes have included:
- Grilled Kebabs with Couscous and Tahini Sauce
- Stone-Baked Moroccan Bread with Dips
- Harissa Chicken, Lamb Kefta, and Chermoula Shrimp Skewers
- Pistachio Cake with Cinnamon Pastry Cream and Candied Walnuts
- Mint Tea and Pomegranate Hard Cider
- Moroccan Cold Brew (when available)
If you’re lucky enough to visit when this spot is fully operating outside of festival season, you may find a small but satisfying menu of classic Moroccan flavors. Portions are generally generous and shareable, especially the kebabs and bread samplers.
Mobile Order
Tangierine Café does not currently offer Mobile Order, particularly when functioning as a festival marketplace. All orders are placed at the counter.
This means it’s best to visit during off-peak hours—early lunch (11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.) or later afternoon (3:00–4:00 p.m.)—to avoid longer lines. If you’re visiting during a popular EPCOT festival, those lines can get surprisingly long.
Military Tips
Tangierine Café is a great option for military families looking to try something unique without committing to a full table service experience. It’s a nice stop if you’re walking World Showcase with kids and want a quieter break away from heavier crowds in pavilions like Mexico or France.
The covered dining area makes it a relatively good spot for stroller-friendly seating and a place to take a breather.
Wrap-Up
Tangierine Café may not be as consistent as it once was, but when it’s open, it’s worth a visit. The bold spices, vibrant colors, and tucked-away ambiance make it one of EPCOT’s most memorable quick-service experiences.

It’s been awhile since we stopped in there, especially with Spice Road right across the way, but I’ve always loved the flavors. I’ll have to prioritize a stop in November when we’re there for 9 days!
Hi Gerry,
I know what you mean about Spice Road! I love that place.
