In the corner of Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom, just before Tomorrowland, is the small, but mighty, Cheshire Cafe.
Just like the cat himself, this quick service is slightly camouflaged by the trees and overlooking Alice and her friends playing at the Mad Tea Party ride.
The building looks just like the fairy tales that it was sprung from, and offers treats and beverages that are just as sweet as the stories themselves. This is a quick service that often hosts special limited time offered snacks and treats, but it also plays host to more reliable delicacies.
Snacks
The most popular item at Cheshire Cafe is the Cheshire Cat Tail. The Cheshire Cat Tail is a sweet snack that is also buttery and indulgent. It features a flaky and buttery puff pastry that has the tiniest chocolate chips twisted throughout. This item is served up warm so the chocolate is melty, and is topped with signature purple stripes. This is delicious and an absolute must have.
Be sure to pair this with a fresh hot cup of Joffrey’s coffee, which is also available at the Cheshire Cafe.
This location often offers specialty pretzels, as well. You can see rotating flavors like cinnamon sugar or pepper jack. In addition to pretzels, be sure to check out the latest slushies and specialty treats like dome cakes, donuts, and eclairs offered here!

Seating
Cheshire Cafe offers the most traditional style of Disney World seating… None at all (practically). But never fear! The corner where the Cheshire Cafe is located is a very shady spot that offers a delicious break from the Florida sun. It is also surrounded by decorative stone gardens that make excellent (and cool) seats.
Seating isn’t absolutely necessary to enjoy a treat from the Cheshire Cafe. Most of the menu offerings are great snacks to enjoy on the go while you walk to your next attraction. Just bring napkins!
Tips
Cheshire Cafe is unique in the Magic Kingdom because it opens soon after the park, while most restaurants don’t open until 10:30. Not only that, but many people don’t realize that it’s there! On your next Magic Kingdom day, take a right at Cinderella Castle and snag yourself a Cheshire Cat Tail and a coffee before walking all around the park.
Remember, calories don’t count in Disney!
