Military Discounted Ticket Prices for the 2026 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
Walt Disney World has announced the 2026 dates for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Shades of Green is expected to once again offer military-discounted tickets once pricing is released.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a Halloween-themed special after-hours event held on select dates in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom theme park.
Your Disney Armed Forces Salute ticket will not get you into Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The purchase of a separate event admission ticket is required to attend.
The event is held on select nights in August through October
This year’s event dates are below:
- August 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30

Discounted Military Tickets
Military prices are now available through Shades of Green’s Ticket Office in person or long distance. Disney’s regular gate prices will be higher and subject to tax.
Guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resorts, Swan & Dolphin, and Shades of Green may purchase tickets earlier directly through Disney.

Active Duty, Retired U.S. Military, including members of the U.S. Coast Guard and participating members of the National Guard and Reserve, may typically purchase discounted Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets for special military-priced event nights. Eligible military members may also generally purchase tickets for up to five (5) family members and/or friends.
Where Can You Purchase These Specially Priced Tickets?
- Direct From Walt Disney World:
- These special military-priced tickets must typically be purchased in person (with proper military ID) from Walt Disney World ticket or Guest Relations locations. Disney does not currently sell the military-discounted party tickets online or over the phone.
- From Shades of Green:
- You may also purchase these special tickets in person at Shades of Green’s Ticket Office.
- Shades of Green has historically offered long-distance sales and shipping for a fee. See their Ticket Page or email [email protected] for current procedures and forms.
NOTE: In years past, Walt Disney World occasionally allowed the military community to purchase MNSSHP tickets in person after arrival for sold-out nights. This was originally arranged because military pricing was only available in person and Shades of Green did not yet sell party tickets remotely.
This special treatment is no longer available. Once Shades of Green began offering long-distance ticket sales, it became much less necessary.
Non-military tickets can be ordered ahead of time by calling 407-W-DISNEY (407-934-7639) or visiting DisneyWorld.com.

You can get the order form from Shades of Green without calling them for it (which is advised if you want to save a lot of time). Simply go onto their website and click on the Experiences page, then click on the Tickets and Attractions link. On the right side of the page there will be a Ticket Ordering link. Click on that then download the pdf form, fill it out, and email it to Shades of Green along with a copy of your military ID card. If you’re ordering before the tickets go on sale to the general public, you’ll also need to include a screen shot of your confirmed reservation at a Disney resort. They ask for a screen shot of your confirmation email from Disney, but I sent them a shot of my MyDisney My Plans page showing the resort reservation and date.
They’ll call you in a day or two, depending on how busy they are, to verify the information and get your payment information. They called me around 2:30 in the afternoon the next day, but I have waited a little longer in other years. A $15 fee will be added to the price if they’re shipping it your home. If you’ll pick the tickets up from Shades of Green, you don’t have to pay the fee that covers the cost of the FedEx shipment. Also know that you will need to be home to sign for the delivery. FedEx won’t leave it in your mailbox or on your doorstep.
Thanks Peg, thanks.
Yep, my link in this post to long distance ordering explains just what you related here. I’ve ever recommend calling (they don’t answer, you need to leave a message.
But, I also advise caution as the process is generally NOT as quick as you related. My last ticket purchase from Shades took 13 days from form upload to receipt. It took 9 days for them to call after I I sent the form.
The number you might have seen in this post is for Disney and regular priced tickets.
Do the MNSSHP tickets come already activated if bought from Shades of Green?
Hi Joe,
Activating tickets is something that only applied t Disney Armed Forces Salute Tickets. All other Disney tickets come ready for use.
Is it possible to purchase the MNSSHP tickets for sold out dates this year?
Hi Monique,
I do not have any intel on that yet this year. I’ll see if I can get some intel.
Steve, I am also wondering this as we have planned a quick trip to Florida during that time and the only day we could go is on a sold out night.
Hey Brittney,
I’ve got an intel team going next week and they’ll be checking on this in person.
Great! Thanks!!!
I just tried tonight for next week and was turned away. I hope you have better luck. I would love a name if you get approval.
Steve, any update on your intel?
Hi Amy, I just got it last night.
Sorry. They are not selling for sold out nights to military!
The ticket windows are “happy to search for party tickets that were canceled or returned and went back into their system.” But no special treatment for military anymore.
Frankly, I’d been expecting this for years. Once Shades of Green started selling long distance it was inevitable. I set this up with WDW Media Relations back in 2021 before long distance ticket purchases were a thing, and Shades didn’t even offer the Party tickets back then, military ones had to be purchased at the gate and if it was sold out, too bad.
Thanks for checking! It seems the dates sold out early this year.
Hey Steve!
The CMs I spoke to tonight st MK stated they can no longer sell military tickets for sold out parties. I even spoke with a Coordinator that couldn’t do it. So get your tickets early, folks!
Hey Steve,
Is there a way to see which parties in the past have been discounted to military? Or even how deeply they were discounted? I don’t know if I should just buy a ticket at regular price for our dates the first weekend of October or if there is a chance they might be included in the military discounted dates this year. It’s our first year for the party, so I don’t know what dates have been discounted in the past. I’m wondering if I shouldn’t just purchase full price when they go on sale tomorrow to guarantee we get tickets to one of the 3 parties going on during our trip dates?
Thanks so much!
Hi Rachelle,
Sure, I’ll put last year’s here.
General Public Tickets range from $119-$199 plus tax depending on date.
