Military Discounted Ticket Prices for the 2026 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Military discounted tickets for the 2026 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are now available through Shades of Green for select party nights.
2026 Military Tickets Are Now Available!
Shades of Green is selling discounted Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets for 22 of Disney’s 25 scheduled party nights. Military prices range from $185.25 to $225 for adults and $175.50 to $215 for children ages 3 through 9.
Military tickets are not available for November 25, December 20, or December 22, 2026.
Purchase early because party tickets are limited and popular dates can sell out!
Your Disney Armed Forces Salute ticket will not get you into Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This is a separately ticketed event, so you need a party ticket in addition to any regular theme park admission you use earlier in the day.
You do not need a regular theme park ticket or theme park reservation if you enter Magic Kingdom during the party-ticket entry window. Party ticket holders may enter Magic Kingdom beginning at 4 p.m. on the date printed on the ticket.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes place from 7 p.m. to midnight and includes festive entertainment, holiday fireworks, a Christmas parade, character greetings, cookies and beverages, attraction overlays, and snowfall on Main Street, U.S.A.

General-public tickets cost from $189 to $229 per person, plus tax, depending on the party date. Children’s tickets for ages 3 through 9 cost $10 less than the corresponding adult ticket.

Three Disney Party Dates Are Not Listed for Military Sales
Disney has announced 25 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party nights, while Shades of Green currently lists military ticket prices for 22 nights.
The three dates not shown in the Shades of Green military price table are:
- November 25, 2026
- December 20, 2026
- December 22, 2026
Shades of Green specifically states that it is not selling tickets for December 20 or December 22. Its price table also omits November 25, so military families planning to attend that party should not assume the military rate is available.
Historically, military discounts are not available for the busiest party nights.
General-public tickets may still be purchased directly from Disney while inventory remains available.
Where Can You Purchase Military Discounted Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Tickets?
Shades of Green
The published 2026 military prices are available through the Shades of Green Ticket Office.
Shades of Green accepts advance ticket requests through its online ticket request process. After the request is reviewed, a Shades of Green ticket agent contacts the purchaser via phone to verify eligibility, finalize the order, and collect payment.
Buying through Shades of Green gives military families the advantage of purchasing before arriving at Walt Disney World. This matters because special-event tickets can sell out before the party date.
Do not wait until the final weeks before your trip. Choose your preferred party date and submit your Shades of Green ticket request as soon as your plans are firm.
Walt Disney World
Disney sells general-public Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets through DisneyWorld.com, the My Disney Experience app, and Disney phone sales.
Guests staying at Shades of Green are included in Disney’s early-purchase window for party nights that take place during their resort stay. That advance-purchase benefit applies to Disney’s regular event tickets and is separate from the military prices published by the Shades of Green Ticket Office.
Base Ticket Offices
Do not assume your local military ticket office sells Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets. These special-event tickets are not distributed as widely as regular Walt Disney World military tickets.
Contact your local ticket office directly if you want to check availability, but Shades of Green is the confirmed source for the military prices shown on this page.
Who Is Eligible to Purchase Through Shades of Green?
Military ticket purchases through Shades of Green require verification of eligibility. The qualifying military member or eligible spouse must have the identification and documentation required by Shades of Green when the order is processed.
If you are uncertain about your military discount eligibility or which identification card applies to your category, start with my Disney Military Discount ID Guide.
Eligibility for a Shades of Green room and eligibility for every individual Disney ticket promotion are not automatically identical. Confirm the requirements for the specific ticket being purchased during the Shades of Green ordering process.

Important Military Ticket Notes
- Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party requires a separate event ticket.
- A Disney Armed Forces Salute ticket does not include party admission.
- Party tickets are date-specific and must be used on the printed event date.
- Party ticket holders may enter Magic Kingdom beginning at 4 p.m.
- The party takes place from 7 p.m. to midnight.
- No additional theme park ticket or theme park reservation is required when entering during the party-ticket admission window.
- Military prices are available for only 22 of the 25 announced party nights.
- Shades of Green does not list a military ticket for November 25, December 20, or December 22.
- Tickets are limited and can sell out before the event date.
- Children younger than age 3 do not require a party ticket.
NOTE: In past years, Walt Disney World sometimes allowed members of the military community to purchase discounted special-event tickets in person after arriving, including tickets for certain nights that appeared sold out to the public. That special treatment is no longer something military families should depend upon. Advance ordering through Shades of Green makes purchasing early much more important.

What Is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party?
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is Magic Kingdom’s separately ticketed holiday event. The 2026 party takes place from 7 p.m. until midnight on select nights between November 8 and December 22.
Party guests may enter Magic Kingdom beginning at 4 p.m., giving them up to eight hours inside the park using only the party ticket.
The event combines holiday entertainment, seasonal character appearances, complimentary cookies and beverages, festive decorations, attraction overlays, and several hours of nighttime access to Magic Kingdom attractions.
What Is Included During the 2026 Party?
Disney has confirmed the return of the party’s major holiday entertainment and experiences. Offerings remain subject to change.
- Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
- Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show
- Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration
- Frozen Holiday Surprise
- Santa’s Christmas Carnival
- Club Tinsel
- Holiday character greetings
- Complimentary cookies and festive beverages
- Snowfall on Main Street, U.S.A.
- Select Magic Kingdom attractions
- Holiday attraction overlays
- Party-exclusive merchandise and specialty food
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade fills Magic Kingdom with Disney Characters, dancing gingerbread people, marching toy soldiers, festive floats, and Santa Claus.
This parade is one of the party’s signature experiences and one of the strongest reasons to purchase a ticket if your family wants entertainment that is not part of a normal Magic Kingdom day.
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show combines holiday music, fireworks, and projections above Cinderella Castle.
Disney notes that the show can be enjoyed from several areas around Magic Kingdom, including Liberty Square, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland. A central view of Cinderella Castle provides the complete projection experience, but families do not have to remain packed into the central hub to enjoy the fireworks.
Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration
Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration is the holiday stage show presented in front of Cinderella Castle. Mickey Mouse and other Disney Characters celebrate the season with music, dancing, and holiday songs.
Frozen Holiday Surprise
Frozen Holiday Surprise features Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and the Snowgies as Cinderella Castle is transformed for the holidays.
Santa’s Christmas Carnival
Storybook Circus becomes Santa’s Christmas Carnival during the party, with Christmas activities, North Pole friends, and an appearance by Santa Claus.
Club Tinsel
Club Tinsel is a holiday dance party held at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. It gives children a place to dance and interact with Disney friends without waiting in a traditional character line.
Holiday Attraction Overlays
Disney has confirmed the return of holiday versions of several Magic Kingdom attractions:
- Space Mountain with holiday music and festive interior lighting
- Tomorrowland Speedway Race Through the Holidays with lights, decorations, and a seasonal soundtrack
- Mad Tea Party with holiday lighting and music combinations
- Jingle Cruise with holiday decorations and seasonal jokes
- Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor with a holiday-themed comedy show
Jingle Cruise also operates during regular Magic Kingdom hours, so it is not exclusive to the party. The other special overlays become an important part of the event-night attraction lineup.
Attractions Open During the Party
Disney has confirmed that numerous Magic Kingdom attractions will operate during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Highlighted attractions include:
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
- Haunted Mansion
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
- Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
Additional attractions will also be available. The final operating lineup can change, and admission to the party does not guarantee access to any specific attraction or experience.
Complimentary Cookies and Holiday Beverages
Cookies and selected hot and cold holiday beverages are included with party admission at designated locations around Magic Kingdom.
These treats are part of the party experience rather than a complete meal. Families should still plan dinner before the party or purchase food inside Magic Kingdom.
Select quick-service restaurants and snack locations remain open during the event. Disney also sells party-specific food and beverages that are not included with admission.
Party Dining and Fireworks Dessert Parties
Select table-service restaurants are expected to accept reservations during the party, including:
- Be Our Guest Restaurant
- Cinderella’s Royal Table
- The Plaza Restaurant
- The Beak & Barrel for drinks and snacks
A valid Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party ticket for the same night is required. Food, restaurant reservations, and dessert-party admission are not included with the regular party ticket.
Disney is also offering two versions of Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party:
- Reserved seating at Tomorrowland Terrace
- Plaza Garden standing-area fireworks viewing
These dessert parties require an additional purchase on top of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party admission.
Should Military Families Buy Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Tickets?
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party can be a memorable splurge for military families who love Christmas, nighttime entertainment, characters, and Magic Kingdom’s holiday atmosphere.
The military price helps, but this remains an expensive addition to a Walt Disney World vacation. A family of four with two adults and two children will spend between approximately $721.50 and $880 using the published Shades of Green prices, depending on the party date.
That makes the most important question not simply whether the party is fun. The real question is whether your family will take advantage of what makes the party different from an ordinary Magic Kingdom visit.
The party is a strong choice for families that prioritize:
- The Christmas parade and holiday fireworks
- Snowfall on Main Street, U.S.A.
- Holiday characters and entertainment
- Seasonal attraction overlays
- Magic Kingdom after dark
- A dedicated Christmas experience during the vacation
It is harder to justify for families primarily interested in riding attractions. A regular Magic Kingdom day offers more operating hours and does not require purchasing another expensive ticket on top of the rest of the vacation.
Steve Says:
Do not treat the 4 p.m. admission time as the beginning of the actual party. The exclusive entertainment and party activities begin at 7 p.m. The three hours between 4 and 7 are valuable for entering Magic Kingdom, eating dinner, taking photos, and completing regular attractions before the party schedule begins.
Eating before 7 p.m. protects the expensive party hours you purchased. You do not want to spend the first hour of the event sitting through a long dinner while the parade, shows, characters, and attraction overlays are underway.

In the past we were able to buy tickets day of at guest relations even if it was sold out. Is that still true?
I called shades of green and they said tickets could only be purchased through them so I am so confused now haha
Hi D,
They definitely have stopped the practice of allowing the military to purchase for sold out nights as Shades of Green has shipped tickets for years now alleviating the need to buy from Disney in person after arrival with the possibility that your date would be sold out before you got there.
As far as I know you can still purchase tickets through Disney in person at the mil rate for nights that are not sold out.
Curious where you got your info on the dates and prices. SoG doesn’t have any Christmas Party tickets for Dec 21 or 22. They say that Disney did not release any to them. WDW claims that there are no military discount tickets for the party at all, only tax-free sales from SoG. I’m hesitant to wait and try to purchase in person the week of if WDW customer service says there’s no discount.
Hi Theresa,
I got them right off of Shades of Green’s site right after they posted.
It may be they had them and have sold out, you have to take anything Shades of Green says with a pinch of salt…
But if they say they don’t have them now I’d go with that and purchase from Disney. You can always try to get a discount (or gift card for the difference in person).
