Blast off into a world of innovation and imagination! Tomorrowland celebrates humanity’s dreams of space travel, discovery, and the promise of the future.

From rockets and racing lightcycles to submarines and stars, this land combines retro-futuristic design with cutting-edge thrills, honoring Walt Disney’s belief that “Tomorrow can be a wonderful age.”

Attractions

Space Mountain

  • Space Mountain (H40) (LL Multi) – Launch into outer space on a high-speed roller coaster through the stars. With pulsating music and dazzling effects, this is one of Disneyland’s most exhilarating and iconic attractions.
  • Star Tours – The Adventures Continue (H40) (LL Multi) – Board a Starspeeder 1000 and blast off on a randomized 3D trip through the Star Wars galaxy. No two journeys are the same as C-3PO accidentally takes you to famous planets and battles.
  • Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters (LL Multi) – Take aim with your laser cannon to help Buzz defeat Emperor Zurg. Spin your cruiser 360° as you compete for the highest score in this interactive ride.
  • Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage – Dive beneath the surface to explore coral reefs and sunken ruins with Nemo and friends. This updated version of Disneyland’s classic Submarine Voyage brings Pixar storytelling to life underwater.
  • Autopia (H32) – Drive your own gas-powered roadster through a scenic mini-highway designed for fun and nostalgia. Kids can take the wheel (with an adult’s help), making this one of Walt Disney’s most enduring attractions.
  • Astro Orbitor – Soar above Tomorrowland in gleaming rocket ships that spin around a towering model of the solar system—a tribute to Disney’s optimistic vision of the future.
  • Disneyland Monorail – A transportation and attraction icon since 1959, the Monorail departs from Downtown Disney and arrives directly inside Tomorrowland. Guests with valid park admission can use this as a second entrance to Disneyland—the perfect futuristic arrival.

Dining

  • Galactic Grill (B, L, D, $) – Counter Service – Mobile Order. Serving breakfast burritos, burgers, salads, and themed desserts, this quick-service favorite offers patio views of the Tomorrowland action.
  • Alien Pizza Planet (L, D, $) – Counter Service – Mobile Order. Inspired by Toy Story, this fun, family-friendly stop serves personal pizzas, pasta, and salads under glowing neon lights.
  • The Milk Stand (S, $) – Counter Service. Serving blue and green milk straight from Batuu—a Galaxy’s Edge crossover favorite now occasionally featured here during special events.
  • Tomorrowland Skyline Lounge Experience (D, $$$) – Table Service (seasonal). Enjoy reserved seating, desserts, and spectacular views of the park’s fireworks from an elevated terrace. Reservations required.

Shopping

  • Star Trader – The land’s main shop featuring Star Wars apparel, toys, lightsabers, and souvenirs.
  • Little Green Men Store Command – Buzz Lightyear-themed merchandise, Pixar toys, and collectibles.
  • Autopia Winner’s Circle – Model cars, themed apparel, and driver’s licenses perfect for young racers.
  • TomorrowLanding – Event-exclusive and limited-edition pins and futuristic Disney merchandise.

Ambiance & History

When Tomorrowland opened with Disneyland in 1955, it embodied the optimism of postwar America—a celebration of technology, progress, and space-age possibility. Guests experienced exhibits from corporate sponsors like Monsanto and Kaiser Aluminum, alongside futuristic attractions like the Rocket to the Moon and Autopia.

Over the decades, Tomorrowland has evolved to reflect each generation’s vision of the future—from the sleek PeopleMover and Submarine Voyage of the 1960s, to the Star Wars-infused Tomorrowland of today. While some attractions have come and gone (Innoventions, Captain EO, PeopleMover), the land continues to embrace Walt’s central message: that innovation and imagination are the keys to a better tomorrow.

The Disneyland Monorail, added in 1959, remains a symbol of that vision. Connecting the park to the outside world, it offers a rare and magical way to enter Disneyland—gliding directly into Tomorrowland’s futuristic skyline.

Disneyland Park Layout

Tomorrowland sits to the right of the hub and shares a close boundary with Fantasyland near the Matterhorn area. This makes it easy to move back and forth between the two lands throughout the day.

Tomorrowland is connected to:

  • Main Street, U.S.A. via the hub entrance
  • Fantasyland via the pathway near the Matterhorn

Wrap-Up

With thrilling space adventures, nostalgic charm, and ever-evolving innovations, Tomorrowland remains the beating heart of Disney’s optimism. Whether you’re piloting a rocket, racing a car, or boarding the Monorail for a grand entrance, Tomorrowland invites you to dream big—because, as Walt said, “Tomorrow is just a dream away.”
