I’m Concerned About Privacy/Security, What Information Does Disney Collect During The Disney Armed Forces Salute Ticket Activation Process?
Many people have contacted me over the years because they were very concerned that Disney might be accessing Privacy Act information. because they collect information about the member during the ticket activation process.
You can rest assured that this is not the case!
- They do not have access to MILPDS or any other military database systems.
- They do not scan or swipe CACs
- They do not record Social Security Numbers.
All Disney states they want is the service member’s name, birth date, and perhaps an e-mail address.
This is the information that they use to track your ticket usage.

Actually requesting & possibly maintaining DOB & base do violate the Privacy Act of 1974. I realize people think this is “paranoid” but consider how much data any system contains then ask why Disney needs to violate a Federal Law. I never worked base level thus any inspections were from SecAF; each of my assignments were FOA or DRU. Just my $0.02 on the matter & yes I always challenge anyone requesting this information or ask to read the full company policy including the Federal Government release for the collection of this data… 🙂
I’m Puerto Rico State a Guard national guard retire airforce base Muñiz. I have my ID card. I am living here for a while in Florida. Do I qualify for these discounts and free benefits??? I’m also a first responder to the 9/11 and very ill. Would be nice if once in a while I could come to Disney and Forget.
