Directions from Shades of Green to Disney's Polynesian Resort
Shades of Green is located within walking distance of Disney's Polynesian Resort. It's about a ten or fifteen minute walk. From the Poly you can take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom, the Transportation and Ticket Center (to transfer to the EPCOT monorail or WDW busses to other destinations), or visit other Magic Kingdom Resorts.
Below is a map overview of the route from Shades of Green (off to the lower left) to the Polynesian Great Ceremonial House. Once on the Polynesian grounds you'll come to a four way intersection and there are two routes that you can take. The route straight ahead takes you through the resort and to the edge of Bay Lake then through the rear area of the Great Ceremonial House. The other route goes off to your right and parallels the monorail track to the front entrance of the Great Ceremonial House.
In either case you need to get to the rear right corner of the Great Ceremonial House's lobby on the first floor. There you'll find stairs to the second floor (an elevator is located to the right facing the stairs. Once on the second floor proceed to the front of the building and the monorail station.

Approaching the Main Road.
Cross the Road and turn left.
The path parallels the road then turns to the right.
After turning right you enter the Polynesian Resort grounds.
Pass under the monorail track.
The four way intersetion. Here you can go straight towards the back of the resort or go right to the front entrance, I think to the right is faster.
If you go straight at the four-way...
Straight throught the four way intersection then bear left.
Go between the buildings and turn right
Turn right.
Walk straight towards the Great Ceremonial House.
Enter the Great Ceremonial House and follow the signs to the lobby.
If you turned right at the four-way...
To the right, back under the monorail track.
To the right, back under the monorail track.
Turn left and parallel the monorail to the front entrance.
