Did you know that it is possible to walk between Disney’s EPCOT Deluxe Resort Area Disney’s Hollywood Studios?
In fact it’s possible to walk from EPCOT’s International Gateway, through the resort area and on to Hollywood Studios!
Here’s our post with directions and pictures of the route.
This post is one of our many Walking at Walt Disney World Posts.
This meandering sidewalk runs from the circle at the western edge of the BoardWalk Inn, where the walkway heads either to the Swan and Dolphin or the Yacht Club.
The Map
Below is a map overview of the walking route which starts at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and proceeds along the waterway to Hollywood Studios. it is just over 3 quarters of a mile (0.80 miles) and is a peaceful walk.
The walk will take 15-20 minutes depending on your speed.

Directions
As usual in these walking posts, I’ll give directions from the resort first, then show the reverse route.
This walk begins from the circle as you exit the BoardWalk Inn property on the west end. You’ll need to add the distance to this point from the resort where you are staying or the International Gateway.

This first picture is from off BoardWalk property looking back to the east.
This next pic is standing in the circle, still looking east back towards the BoardWalk. The path is to the right.
Standing in the sidewalk after just exiting the circle. The Swan is to the right across the water and the BoardWalk tot he left.
It’s a beautiful serene walk. You will pass the BoardWalk pool area on the left.
This is the view once you pass the BoardWalk Inn.
The sidewalk passes under Buena Vista Drive.

After passing unde the road, you will begin to see Hollywood Studios in the distance.
The sidewalk will pass the Hollywood Studios Bus Station which is on the left.
As you enter the Studios’ Transportation area the sidewalk turns to the the left.
You will continue on, passing restrooms on the right.
Under the Skyliner cables, then take a right.
You’ll walk past the Skyliner Station and arrive at the Hollywood Studios entrance.
You’ve arrived!
Overall it is a reasonable walking distance, which if it’s not too hot can be a peaceful part of your day!
More Pics of the Route in Reverse
Getting back to the resort is simply reversing the path. Here are the pictures showing how it looks walking from the Studios back to the resort area.
You will exit the park and head towards the Skyliner station. Pass right by the station and turn left.
Walk past the bathrooms on the left.
Right after the bathroom building turn to the left onto the sidewalk.
The bus station will be on your right.
You can see the Buena Vista Drive bridge in the distance.
Keep going under the bridge.
This is just past the bridge. The sidewalk to the right curves back up  the hill and meets the sidewalk along Buena Vista Drive.
Keep going straight towards the Swan in the distance.
Closer to the Swan.
You’ll enter the BoardWalk property with its railing along the water. The pool area is on the right.
Almost there, the circle is just ahead.
Back at the circle!
Over to you
