If you’re a military family planning a Disney vacation in 2026, you could save hundreds of dollars on park admission through Disney’s exclusive military offers.
But here’s the thing—you can’t just buy these tickets anywhere. In fact, you won’t find them on Disney’s website, app, or even at the park gates.
In this guide, we’re cutting through the confusion to show you exactly where to buy Disney military tickets in 2026, how much they cost, and how to avoid common mistakes. Let’s get started so you can plan with confidence (and keep more cash for churros).
📍 1. Where Not to Buy Disney Military Tickets
Before we talk about where to get them, here’s where not to look:
❌ Not sold on Disney’s official websites, the My Disney Experience app, or Disneyland app
❌ Not available at Walt Disney World ticket booths or at Disney Springs
❌ Not available at Disneyland ticket booths
❌ Not offered through commercial ticket resellers (those are regular-priced or small discounts at best)
👉 Avoid any site that promises deep Disney discounts but isn’t affiliated with a military base or Shades of Green—some are scams, and none offer the true Armed Forces Salute deal.
🛒 2. Official Places to Buy Disney Military Tickets
✅ Base Ticket Offices (ITT/MWR/Leisure Travel Services)
- Located at most U.S. military installations
- No tax is charged
- Great for walk-in purchases
- Some may offer mail-order options if coordinated
📝 Tip: Call ahead—hours and ticket availability can vary by location.

✅ Shades of Green Resort at Walt Disney World
- Open to all eligible military members (and not just resort guests!)
- Purchase tickets in person or online
- Located near the Magic Kingdom
- Open 7 days a week — Visit their ticket office page here
📫 Planning ahead? Download their ticket order form and submit it via email—this is a lifesaver for remote-duty families!
Links:
✅ The Orlando ITT
- Open to all eligible military members
- Purchase tickets in person
- Located near the Orlando International Airport
- Co-located with an awesome Exchange and Commissary – to stock up for your hotel room
- Open 7 days a week
Links:
✅ Remote Order Through Select Base Offices
- Some bases (especially large installations) allow phone or email orders
- Tickets are shipped directly to you, or ticket numbers are emailed
- Ideal for National Guard, Reserve, or retirees not living near a base
📞 Call your nearest large base to ask about mail-order policies. My favorites are Patrick SFB for WDW tickets and Camp Pendleton for DLR tickets.

💰 3. Disney Military Ticket Prices for 2026
Many people are unaware that there are two types of Disney Military Tickets! The Disney Armed Forces Salute Tickets and Military Theme Park Tickets.
Disney Armed Forces Salute Tickets
The Disney Armed Forces Salute is a special discount program created by Disney for eligible military members and their families. It includes: Deeply discounted multi-day park tickets.
This program is not the same as the regular “slightly discounted” military tickets available year-round. The Salute offer is much more generous, but only available during specific dates and only to qualifying individuals.
Disney World 2026 Armed Forces Salute Prices
Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket
- Park Hopper: $499
- Park Hopper Plus: $529
6-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket

- Park Hopper Plus: $479
5-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket

These tickets are significantly cheaper than regular Disney pricing (which can be $150+ per day). They may be used any day during the offer period and require Theme Park Reservations!
Sales tax is not charged when buying from Shades of Green or base ticket offices.
Military Theme Park Tickets
Disney World Military Theme Park Tickets
Disney World Military Theme Park Tickets are identical to the tickets that the general public can purchase, but at 10 to 20 percent off, plus with no added sales tax. You must pick your ticket start date when purchasing, so no Theme Park Reservations are required.
They come in 1- to 10-day lengths. There are Base Tickets (one park per day) and 3 options that you can add to your Base Ticket, these are the Park Hopper Option, the Water Parks and Sports Option, and the Park Hopper Plus Option.
These military ticket versions will receive a discounted percentage off of that price. However, these prices can fluctuate from the original price based on several factors. If you do a price check for your trip one day, prices might be different for the same dates the next day! Your price is set when you buy your tickets.
Here are the discount percentages as they stand now:
- 1-Day and 2-Day Tickets – Approximately 10% off of the current published general public price before tax*
- 3-Day to 10-Day Tickets – Approximately 20% off of the current published general public price before tax*
* Base Ticket Offices and Military Resellers do not charge sales tax!
Disneyland Military Theme Park Tickets
Disney World Military Theme Park Tickets are identical to the tickets that the general public can purchase, but at a slight discount, and no sales tax is added. Theme Park Reservations are required to use these tickets. All Disneyland tickets require theme park reservations!
They come in 1- to 5-day lengths, with or without Lightning Lane Multi Pass. These can be either Base Tickets (one park per day) or the Park Hopper Option.

* Base Ticket Offices and Military Resellers do not charge sales tax!

🧾 4. How the Purchase Process Works
Here’s a general step-by-step for buying tickets:
- Confirm eligibility (Active Duty, Retired, Guard/Reserve, NOAA, PHS, Spouse with ID)
- Visit or contact your ticket office or Shades of Green
- Present a valid military ID
- Place your order and pay (credit card/check accepted for mail orders)
- Receive physical tickets with a barcode
- Link ticket numbers to your My Disney Experience Disneyland account
- Make park reservations (if still required)
🎫 5. Ticket Activation & First Use
Before entering a park, Disney Armed Forces Salute Tickets must be activated at a Disney ticket window.
- Bring military ID
- The sponsor or spouse needs to be present, as well as the whole group
- Activation usually takes just a few minutes
- Disney World and Disneyland do this differently (see the link below)

🔍 6. Tips to Get the Best Experience
💡 Order early! Some dates sell out, especially around Spring Break and Thanksgiving.
📆 Double-check Salute Ticket blackout dates before selecting your ticket type.
🧾 Keep a copy of your receipt and ticket numbers in case they get lost. Pics on your phone are perfect for this!
🏨 Consider booking your resort stay at the same time to secure the best rates and availability.
📌 7. Ticket Limits and Usage Rules
Disney Armed Forces Salute
🎟️ Limit: 6 tickets per eligible sponsor per calendar year
👨👩👧👦 Must be used by the sponsor and immediate family or friends traveling with them
📅 Tickets are valid for use within the 2026 offer window (usually Jan–mid-Dec)
🔓 Tickets are not transferable once activated
Military Theme Park Tickets
🎟️ Not limited in number
👨👩👧👦 May be given to family and friends (no ID check prior to use after arrival)
📅 Tickets are valid for the specific chosen days
🔓 Tickets are not transferable once activated
🙋 8. FAQs About Military Ticket Purchases
Q: Can I buy tickets for my in-laws or neighbors?
A: Yes. If using the Salute Tickets, only if they’re traveling with you, and you’re using them too. If using the Military Theme Park Tickets, you may buy them for anyone and they may use them without you.
Q: What if I lose my ticket?
A: Keep a photo or receipt with the ticket numbers—most offices can reissue if not yet activated. Disney can reissue at any time.
Q: Can I upgrade to Paid Lightning Lane Options?
A: Yes! At Disneyland, you can purchase Lightning Land Multi Pass as part of your tickets. Lightning Lane Single Pass, Premier Pass on both coasts, and at Disney World Multi Pass are all purchased separately from tickets on your tickets via the My Disney Experience or Disneyland apps.
Q: I’m a veteran but not retired—can I get these tickets?
A: For the Disney Armed Forces Salute, only if you are 100% service-connected disabled or meet other specific eligibility criteria. See full details here. For the Military Theme Park Tickets, all service-connected disabilities, former POWs, and Purple Heart recipients are eligible via the Equal Access Act.

Now that you know where to buy Disney military tickets in 2026 and how much they’ll cost, you’re one giant step closer to your next magical mission. Whether you’re walking into ITT or emailing Shades of Green, you’ll be armed with all the right info.
