Military Discounts are available for the U.S. Military Community for the Disneyland Resort!
Military discounts for Disneyland fall into 3 categories:
- Military Discounted Disneyland Tickets
- Military Discounted Disneyland Hotel Rooms
- Military Discounted Dining at Disneyland
Military Discounted Disneyland Tickets
Disneyland Ticket Booth
Military discounted Disneyland Tickets come in 2 types, the Disneyland Military Salute Tickets and the Regular Military Discounted Disneyland Tickets.
The Military Salute Tickets (usually called Disney Armed Forces Salute Tickets or Promotional Tickets are special discounted tickets exclusively for current and retired military members and their spouses. These highly discounted tickets are offered for specific timeframes and have strict eligibility and use rules due to the large discount.

These Military Promotional Tickets come in 2 lengths:
- 3-Day Park Hopper Ticket for $225 per person
- 4-Day Park Hopper Ticket for $260 per person
There is only one ticket for all age groups, that is there is not an adult and child version if these special tickets.
These promotional tickets can be purchased at many Military Base Ticket Offices. California area and other large Offices sell Disneyland tickets. If you do not live near one many sell tickets long distance.

The Regular Military Discounted Disneyland Tickets are slightly discounted tickets that are always available at Base Ticket Offices. Eligibility is a little less strict and usage rules are minimal on these tickets.
The regular military tickets come in:
- 1 – 5 day lengths
- Single Park or Hopper Versions
- Have a Disney Genie+ Add-On available
- Come in Adult and Child Versions

When comparing the Regular Military Discounted Disneyland Ticket prices to the Disney Armed Forces Salute prices you can see that the Salute offers bigger savings.
Theme Park Reservations –Â Disney is still requiring that you make a reservation to enter your first park of the day in advance via the Disneyland app or website, so make sure that you purchase your tickets in advance to do so.
Military Discounted Disneyland Hotel Rooms
As part of the Disney Armed Forces Salute Disney also offers a Room Discount at the 3 on property Disneyland Resort Hotels.
Disney offers these discounts on a sliding scale. By this I mean that during timeframes when Disney needs to fill rooms they offer the maximum discount listed below for each hotel. As room bookings start to reduce the need to fill rooms, the discount is reduced until the point where Disney does not need to fill rooms and at that point the discount would not be available.
- Up to 40% off at The Grand Californian Resort and Spa
- Up to 35% off at The Disneyland Hotel
- Up to 30% off at The Paradise Pier Hotel
How Disney determines how much of a discount to offer is complex and you could find that the discount is available at on hotel and not another for your dates or on one room type and not another.

Military Discounted Dining at Disneyland
Disney does not offer military discounts on dining!
However there are third party restaurants on property located in Downtown Disney that do.
Downtown Disney is Disneyland’s shopping, dining, and entertainment district. It is located adjacent to both theme parks, 2 of the hotels, and nearby the other hotel.
