Military Discounts are available for the U.S. Military Community for the Walt Disney World Resort!
Military discounts for Walt Disney World fall into 4 categories:
- Military Discounted Disney World Tickets
- Military Discounted Disney World Hotel Rooms
- Military Discounted Memory Maker at Disney World
- Military Discounted Dining at DisneyWorld
Military Discounted Walt Disney World Tickets
Military discounted Walt Disney World Tickets come in 2 types, the Walt Disney World Military Salute Tickets and the Regular Military Discounted Magic Your Way Tickets.
The Military Salute Tickets (usually called Disney Armed Forces Salute Tickets or Promotional Tickets are special discounted tickets exclusively for current and retired military members and their spouses. These highly discounted tickets are offered for specific timeframes and have strict eligibility and use rules due to the large discount.

These Military Promotional Tickets come in 2 lengths and with 2 different options. The Park Hopper Option allows you to visit multiple theme parks on the same day. The Hopper Plus allows you to visit multiple parks on the same day, plus 4 entrances to a variety of non-theme Park Disney venues in addition to your 4 theme park days
2022 Disney Armed Forces Salute Prices:
- 4-day Park Hopper – $329
- 4-day Park Hopper Plus – $359
- 5-day Park Hopper – $349
- 5-day Park Hopper Plus – $379
There is only one ticket for all age groups, that is there is not an adult and child version if these special tickets.
These promotional tickets can be purchased at many Military Base Ticket Offices including Shades of Green and the Orlando ITT. Southeastern area and other large Offices sell Walt Disney World tickets. If you do not live near one many sell tickets long distance.

The Regular Military Discounted Disney World Magic Your Way Tickets are slightly discounted tickets that are always available at Base Ticket Offices. Eligibility is a little less strict and usage rules are minimal on these tickets.
The regular military tickets come in:
- 1 – 10 day lengths
- Single Park, Park Hopper, Water Park & Sports, and Park Hopper Plus Versions
- Come in Adult and Child Versions
The Single Park ticket allows entrance to only one theme park per day. The Water Park & Sports Option allows a single theme park per day entrance plus all of the other options that the Park Hopper Plus has. The difference between the two is the ability to enter multiple parks on the same day.

When comparing the Regular Military Discounted Disney World Ticket prices to the Disney Armed Forces Salute prices you can see that the Salute offers bigger savings.
Theme Park Reservations –Â Disney is still requiring that you make a reservation to enter your first park of the day in advance via the My Disney Experience app or Disney World website, so make sure that you purchase your tickets in advance to do so.

As part of the Disney Armed Forces Salute Disney also offers a Room Discount at the Walt DisneyWorld Resort Hotels.
Disney offers these discounts on a sliding scale. By this I mean that during timeframes when Disney needs to fill rooms they offer the maximum discount listed below for each hotel. As room bookings start to reduce the need to fill rooms, the discount is reduced until the point where Disney does not need to fill rooms and at that point the discount would not be available.
- Up to 40% off at Disney’s Deluxe Resorts
- Up to 35% off at Most Moderate Resorts
- Up to 30% off at Most Value Resorts
How Disney determines how much of a discount to offer is complex and you could find that the discount is available at on hotel and not another for your dates or on one room type and not another.

The Shades of Green Resort is an Armed Forces Recreation Center located right on Walt Disney World property!
Here you will find very affordable military room rates for your Disney vacation!
At Shades of Green you will find all of the amenities that you’d expect at any very nice resort destination: a selection of restaurants, recreational options, self and valet parking, bellhop service, spa, fitness room, two pools, free Wi-Fi, and self-service laundry facilities, plus a military discounted ticket sales office and mini Exchange.
You’ll find Shades of Green has very reasonable room rates compared with many Disney World Resorts and other hotels in the local area. Rates are based upon rank/pay grade, with junior members paying much less.

Military Discounted Memory Maker at Walt Disney World
Walt Disney World offers military discounts on WDW Memory Maker for 2022!
You may use this offer twice between 1 January and 16 December 2022.
Memory Maker is Disney’s program with witch you can have Disney’s professional photographers document your Disney World Vacation.
Disney is offering a huge discount on these photo services, Memory Maker at Walt Disney World.
- You can purchase the Memory Maker product for the discounted price of $98.00
- The discounted Memory Maker can be purchased in the parks at select retail locations. The One-day Memory Maker can only be purchased at the vacation planning booths at the Ticket and Transportation Center or at Guest Relations by Eligible Service Members or their spouses.

Military Discounted Dining at Walt Disney World
Disney does not offer military discounts on dining!
However there are third party restaurants on property located in Disney Springs that do.
Disney Springs is Disney World’s shopping, dining, and entertainment district.
