Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Toy Story Land is a whimsical and immersive section of Disney’s Hollywood Studios that transports visitors into the world of Andy’s toys from the beloved Toy Story movies. From the moment you enter, you’ll be greeted by larger-than-life versions of Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and other iconic characters that tower over the park’s colorful landscape.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. Toy Story Land is filled with playful touches that will make you feel like you’ve been shrunk down to the size of a toy. The entrance to the land is flanked by a towering fence made of colorful building blocks, and everywhere you look, there are playful nods to the movies. For example, there’s a larger-than-life replica of the Pixar ball, as well as giant dominoes and Jenga blocks.
One of the standout features of Toy Story Land is the attention to detail. The queue for the Slinky Dog Dash takes you through a maze of toys and games that are designed to make you feel like you’re in Andy’s room, and the merchandise locations are filled with toys and souvenirs that are inspired by the movies.
Andy’s Footprint
Fun Fact: Our favorite detail in the land is actually the structure that makes the bathroom. Andy created the bathrooms out of old Milton Bradley games from the 90s, (remember the movie came out in 1995), and the board game that is the most pronounced is COOTIES! How appropriate is that!?
Toy Story Characters
In Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests have the incredible opportunity to meet and interact with their favorite Toy Story characters in immersive and memorable character meet and greet experiences. These encounters bring the magic of the movies to life and allow fans of all ages to step into the world of Andy’s toys.
One of the most beloved character meet and greets is with Sheriff Woody himself. As you make your way through Toy Story Land, keep an eye out for Woody, who is often seen strolling around, ready to greet visitors.
Of course, no visit to Toy Story Land would be complete without meeting Buzz Lightyear. This intergalactic hero is always eager to engage with guests, striking his signature poses and showing off his impressive “to infinity and beyond” moves. Meeting Buzz allows fans to feel like they’re part of the space-faring adventures from the movies. You can snap a photo with him and even join him in an enthusiastic “Space Ranger salute!”
In addition to Woody and Buzz, guests may also encounter other beloved Toy Story characters during their visit to Toy Story Land. Jessie, the spirited cowgirl, often joins Woody for meet and greets, adding an extra dose of energy and excitement. The dynamic duo is always ready to entertain and engage with fans, sharing their enthusiasm and creating magical memories.
The character meet and greets in Toy Story Land go beyond simply posing for pictures. The interactions are immersive and character-driven, allowing guests to engage in conversations, exchange high-fives, and even engage in playful banter. Perhaps the most fun meet and greet is actually with one of the toy soldiers roaming around!
The attention to detail extends to the character’s mannerisms and personalities, making these experiences feel incredibly authentic. It’s important to note that character appearances are subject to change, and availability may vary throughout the day. Checking the park schedule or utilizing the My Disney Experience app can help you plan your day to ensure you don’t miss out on meeting your favorite Toy Story characters.

Dining in Toy Story Land
When it comes to dining in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests are in for a treat with two uniquely themed and delicious options: Woody’s Lunch Box and the new Roundup Rodeo Restaurant.
Woody’s Lunch Box
Woody’s Lunch Box is a quick-service eatery that captures the nostalgic charm of a classic lunchbox. Located in the heart of Toy Story Land, this whimsical dining spot offers a menu filled with comforting and inventive dishes. For lunch and dinner, indulge in mouthwatering options such as the Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwich, the BBQ Brisket Melt, or the Totchos—a unique twist on loaded nachos using tater tots as a base.
Pair your meal with a refreshing beverage, including specialty soda floats and nostalgic sodas in glass bottles. There are also themed adult beverages. Be sure to save room for the iconic Lunch Box Tart—a scrumptious pastry filled with either raspberry or chocolate-hazelnut.
Woody’s Lunch Box is also available for Mobile Order, which we highly recommend because it is always a busy place and it is in the direct sun.
Round Up Rodeo
Another exciting dining experience in Toy Story Land is the newly opened Roundup Rodeo Restaurant. This table-service restaurant invites guests to join in a lively western-style hoedown. Step inside and immerse yourself in the colorful and vibrant atmosphere inspired by the beloved Toy Story character, Jessie. Feast on delectable dishes that celebrate flavors from the Wild West. The menu features hearty entrees such as the BBQ platter with smoked pork, beef, and chicken, or the Grilled Steak Medallions. Vegetarian options like the Portobello and Vegetable Pasta or the Southwestern Salad are also available.
Guests waited years to see these doors open, so it’s safe to say that these reservations are difficult to snag. Be sure to wake up nice and early 60 days out from your vacation to make reservations if you have your heart set on Round Up Rodeo.
Overall, Toy Story Land is a playful and immersive destination that’s perfect for families and fans of the Toy Story movies. From the rides to the decor to the food, everything is designed to make you feel like you’ve been transported into the world of Andy’s toys, and it’s a must-visit for anyone who loves all things Disney.

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
Located in Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom is Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, inspired by the video game that Rex is obsessed with. Now you can help defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg!

Meet Buzz Lightyear
Buzz Lightyear is a regular on the Tomorrowland stage. This is not a full meet and greet station, however. Buzz will be up on the stage striking poses and you can come up and take selfies. A little Buzz Lightyear is better than no Buzz at all, right!?
Toy Story Merchandise
Of course you will find merchandise shops in Toy Story Land, with the main one being just outside of Toy Story Mania! We love that there are items to major AND minor characters form each of the 4 movies. You will likely see references to RC, Etch a Sketches, Lotso Huggin’ Bear, and even Chicky and Bunny from Toy Story 4! Our only disappointment is that Buzz doesn’t have a Spanish mode akin to the Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story 3.
You will find different Toy Story merchandise all over Walt Disney World. Everything from hats, to ears, shirts, toys, magic bands, water bottles, and more are available everywhere, but if you are looking for the ultimate Toy Story day then you need to stop at Once Upon A Toy in Disney Springs. Not only does this shop sell the toys that made the movie famous, it also is host to 2 perfect photo spots!
Steve at Once Upon A Toy in Disney Springs
Right in front of Once Upon A Toy is a huge figure of Mr. Potatohead and of course, the original Space Ranger himself, Buzz Lightyear just waiting to take pictures with you and make memories.
Toy Story Disney Bound
If you want to take your trip and your pictures to the next level, you should try a Toy Story Disney Bound! Disney Bounding is a form of cosplay where guests dress in a way that is inspired by a character. Remember, no costumes are allowed by persons over the age of 12 in Walt Disney World.
Popular Toy Story Disney Bounds are Pizza Planet, Buzz, Woody, Jessie, and the Aliens. It’s amazing what ears, some outfit colors, and accessories can do you create a fun and creative Disney Bound!
When to Visit For the PERFECT Toy Story Day in Walt Disney World?
In order to see everything from Toy Story in Walt Disney World, you need to visit during the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. Why, you ask? A huge part of the Flower and Garden Festival are these incredibly intricate topiaries located throughout the park.
For years, Toy Story has had representation at the festival with Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Bo Peep, and even her sheep on display made completely out of different plants. Walt Disney World’s horticulture team is basically made up of musicians.
