Shades of Green has announced their Savings in January Special for 2025.

This Special is currently a room and breakfast discount.

The current discount rate of this offer is 15% off of the regular rate for Standard Rooms.

Room Rates

Note: Starting with specials announced in 2024, Shades of Green is not listing the actual prices along with the percent off. They have just stated the percent off on their site. This will allow them to slightly adjust the actual price as they were known to do in the past. (they used to announce a 15% off special, but the savings were actually 13.4% (the amount varied).

I have put the 15% off prices based on the fiscal year 2025 rates below. I’ll continue to track this discount and update prices as needed.

• Category 1 guests $152.15 per night stay (E1-E6, Cadet)
• Category 2 guests $194.65 per night stay (E7-E9,O1-O3, 100% Disabled Veterans, Widows, Medal of Honor Recipients)
• Category 3 guests $203.15 per night stay (O4-O6, CW4-CW6, O7-O10, Active Duty Foreign Military, DoD Active/Retired)

Dining Discount

Shades of Green is offering 15% off of the buffet breakfast at the Garden Gallery with this special. You will need to purchase the breakfast for everyone in your room for each night of your stay.

The Garden Gallery Breakfast Buffet includes Cooked to order omelets, a specialty pancake station, waffle station, seasonal fruit, oatmeal and yogurt, turkey sausage, egg white omelets, gluten free options, and more.

When deciding on this special consider if you want to have a sit down breakfast every day of your trip. That is a big full buffet or paying buffet prices for a small breakfast… You can compare this special’s price (room and breakfast for everyone at 15% off) to the regular rate and see what is best for you.

Rather than a big meal, you might want something light or even a special treat once you arrive at the parks!

If you are interested in these dates act fast, because Shades does modify their discounts the longer they’ve been available. Those who book early will get the best discount!

Breakfast Savings

Many years ago, Shades of Green offered Room and dining packages where they included the price of dining (either just breakfast or sometimes breakfast and dinner) at Shades of Green’s Garden Gallery for 2 adults for each night of your stay in the room price. Any additional adults or kids in the room would add to the advertised room price.

Since they have not stated the price for this special (remember the prices above are my figuring 15% off just the room for you to compare) I’m assuming that they will do the same thing as in the past. This will increase your nightly room rate by $33.92 (for 2 adult Buffets at 15% off). Any additional guests in the room 12 years or older will increase your rate $16.96 per night, and any children 5 to 11 will increase the rate $10.16 each per night.

How to Book

Shades of Green has stopped allowing you to book their specials through their online system.

Shades of Green’s special rates can only be reserved by calling their reservation line at (888) 593-2242. They can not be reserved online!

You specifically ask the reservationist for the special; they will not add it automatically.

If only some of your travel dates are during a Special Rate, you can still have the discount applied to those dates.
