Shiki-Sai translates as Festival of the Four Seasons, while izakaya translates as “stay-drink-place.” or a spot to grab a drink, settle in, and get comfortable.

📍EPCOT | World Showcase | Japan
A lot has changed in Walt Disney World after the parks reopened, but we were amazed that a new table service sushi restaurant opened with almost no fanfare. We’re talking about Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya. Since its quiet opening in the location that previously held Tokyo Dining following the tumultuous events of 2020, this Japanese gem has remained somewhat of a well-kept secret, tucked away from the bustling crowds yet poised to captivate the palates of those who venture its way.
Ambience
The restaurant’s ambiance strikes a delicate balance between casual and refined, with warm wooden accents and paper lanterns casting a soft glow over diners. If you are looking to get away from the noise from the parks and have a zen-like lunch, then Shiki-Sai is the best place.
Menu
In keeping with the name, Festival of the Four Seasons, Shiki-Sai’s menu changes seasonally reflecting the flavors of each season of the 4 seasons. You’ll participate in Tanabata festivities during the summer, savor moon-viewing dumplings in the autumn, and so much more.
Shiki-Sai’s menu features a tantalizing array of sushi, sashimi, and izakaya-style small plates meticulously crafted to delight the senses. From the delicate melt-in-your-mouth sashimi to the bold flavors of signature rolls like the Dragon roll or the Philadelphia roll, each dish showcases the mastery of the chefs and the restaurant’s commitment to quality ingredients.

Potato Salad
What Shiki-Sai is most known for is the Fune for 4-6. A treat reserved for special occasions at a hefty $300, the Fune for 4-6 is a boatload of sushi and sashimi. Literally. This assortment is served on a literal boat. It is a celebration platter that is just as much a feast for the eyes as it is the palette.
Securing Your Seat: Reservations
As a table-service restaurant, Shiki-Sai offers guests the opportunity to indulge in a leisurely dining experience, where each bite is savored, and every moment cherished. While walk-ins are welcome, securing a reservation is highly recommended, especially during peak hours and busy seasons. This is the only way to secure a seat.
To make a reservation, guests can utilize the My Disney Experience app. Whether you’re planning a romantic dinner for two or a gathering with friends and family, booking ahead ensures you won’t miss out on the culinary delights awaiting at Shiki-Sai.
MDT Tip

Traditional Sake Service
Located on the second floor of the main building in the Japan Pavilion, Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya has a fantastic view of the World Showcase Lagoon and EPCOT Forever – A Nighttime Extravaganza. Reservations that coincide with the 9 p.m. showtime are recommended.
