Ambience of the China Pavilion
Stepping into the China Pavilion at Epcot is akin to entering a serene oasis that exudes tranquility and beauty. The architecture of the pavilion is a stunning reflection of China’s rich heritage, featuring grandiose structures inspired by iconic landmarks such as the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests in Beijing’s Temple of Heaven. Meet and Greet in the China Garden

Experiences in the China Pavilion
The China Pavilion in Epcot offers a range of experiences that bring the enchanting world of China to life. One of the highlights is the “Reflections of China” film, a cinematic masterpiece that takes you on a breathtaking virtual tour of China’s most iconic landmarks, from the Great Wall to the Forbidden City. Through stunning panoramic views and immersive storytelling, this 360-degree film provides a deeper understanding of China’s rich history, culture, and natural wonders.
While the theater for “Reflections of China” is inside of the temple at the heart of the pavilion, you do not need to see the movie to enter. In fact, the inside of the temple is our favorite place to be in the China pavilion. Take a walk inside and just look up to see some of the most incredible acts of artistry in EPCOT.
Dining in the China Pavilion
One of the highlights of any pavilion in the World Showcase is the food! While typically the pavilions offer foods and tastes from the host country, the China pavilion is a little unique in that some of the cuisine is very Americanized.

Nine Dragons Restaurant – At the heart of the China Pavilion, the Nine Dragons Restaurant entices guests with its elegant ambiance and a menu that celebrates the regional cuisines of China. From succulent meats and seafood to flavorful vegetarian options, the restaurant offers an extensive selection of dishes prepared with traditional Chinese cooking techniques.
Whether you choose the Kung Pao chicken, honey sesame chicken, or the mouthwatering General Tso’s shrimp, each bite is a delightful symphony of flavors. With its warm atmosphere and attentive service, the Nine Dragons Restaurant promises a memorable dining experience.

Lotus Blossom Café – For those seeking a quick and tasty bite, the Lotus Blossom Café is the perfect spot. The shop also features an assortment of decorative accessories, such as ornate fans, traditional Chinese lanterns, and delicate jewelry. Whether you’re searching for a meaningful keepsake or a stylish addition to your home, the House of Good Fortune is a treasure trove of cultural treasures.
Perhaps the most fun items for people to purchase from the House of Good Fortune are the Chinese versions of American snacks. You can find fun things like squid ink Lay’s chips or peach tea Oreos!
Yong Feng Shangdian – Located near the entrance of the China Pavilion, Yong Feng Shangdian is a boutique-style shop that showcases a blend of modern and traditional Chinese merchandise. There you can find accessories, collectibles, jade jewelry and more. This shop offers a fusion of contemporary style and classic Chinese motifs, allowing guests to find the perfect memento to commemorate their visit.
