Whether you’re craving a quick bite or want a scenic spot to relax between attractions, La Cantina de San Angel delivers delicious Mexican flavors right on the waterfront. With generous portions, outdoor seating, and easy access to margaritas, this popular counter-service location is a fan favorite for a reason.

La Cantina de San Angel is located at the front of the Mexico Pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase, right along the edge of World Showcase Lagoon. It shares a building with La Hacienda de San Angel, which is the table-service restaurant next door.

You can’t miss it—the walk-up windows and outdoor patio sit directly across from Disney Traders and near the entrance to the bridge that leads to the China Pavilion.

Ambiance

La Cantina offers an unbeatable setting for a quick-service meal. Most seating is covered but open-air, giving guests sweeping views of the water and the rest of World Showcase. The colonial-style architecture blends beautifully with the atmosphere, and the view is especially stunning during golden hour or if you’re lucky enough to catch the EPCOT nighttime show from your table.

It can get a bit crowded during peak mealtimes and before the fireworks, but the energy is festive, and the scenery makes it worth the wait.

Menu

The menu at La Cantina de San Angel focuses on approachable, crowd-pleasing Mexican dishes that are easy to enjoy on the go—or while lingering over the view.

Popular items include:

• Tacos de Barbacoa – Three soft corn tortillas with barbacoa beef, white onions, and cilantro, served with Mexican rice and black beans
• Empanadas con Queso – Cheese-filled empanadas topped with chipotle sauce, served with rice and beans
• Nachos – Corn chips piled high with ground beef, beans, nacho cheese, tomatoes, and jalapeños

For lighter fare:

• Guacamole with Totopos – A fresh and flavorful snack that’s great for sharing

Mobile Order

Mobile Order is not available at La Cantina de San Angel. This is a traditional walk-up counter, so expect a line during peak meal hours, especially around lunchtime and just before the nighttime fireworks.
