Smoked flavors meet Southern sips—home of the fan-favorite Moonshine Sour!
While the Regal Eagle Smokehouse gets plenty of attention for its barbecue, it’s the walk-up outdoor bar that’s become a surprise standout for EPCOT guests, especially if you’re looking for one of the best drinks in all of Walt Disney World. This patriotic pitstop in the American Adventure Pavilion is where you’ll find the Moonshine Sour, a drink that’s developed something of a cult following (ourselves included!).
Location
📍EPCOT | World Showcase | American Adventure
The Regal Eagle Smokehouse Outdoor Bar is located right next to the main entrance of the Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue. It sits along the promenade in the American Adventure Pavilion at EPCOT’s World Showcase.
If you’re facing the restaurant’s front door, the bar is just to the left—look for the decorative barrels, rustic trim, and folks holding colorful drinks with glowing smiles.
Ambiance
This isn’t a full lounge, but it’s one of the outdoor drink stands in EPCOT. Just step up to the counter to order.
You can sip your drink while walking around the World Showcase or snag one of the nearby shaded picnic tables outside Regal Eagle for a casual resting spot. The vibe is relaxed, and service is usually quick—especially compared to some of the festival booths nearby.
Drink Menu
This little bar packs a punch with a concise but crowd-pleasing menu of craft cocktails and beers—many with a distinctly Southern twist.
The standout? Without question:
🥃 Moonshine Sour
Made with Ole Smoky Blackberry Moonshine, lemon juice, and blackberry syrup
This drink is everything you want on a hot Florida day—tart, sweet, refreshing, and just strong enough to make your theme park afternoon a little more magical. It’s been our family’s go-to EPCOT drink for years, and judging by the online buzz, we’re not alone.
Fans love it for its balance—smooth and fruit-forward, but not overly sugary. It’s also one of the more photogenic drinks at Walt Disney World, especially when the sun hits that deep purple color just right.
Other popular choices include:
- Ciderboys Strawberry Magic Cider
- Tennessee Lemonade – Jack Daniel’s, peach schnapps, and lemonade
- Cigar City Jai Alai IPA and Bell’s Two Hearted Ale
The drink menu rotates occasionally, and seasonal or limited-time offerings sometimes pop up, especially during EPCOT festivals. But the Moonshine Sour is a mainstay—and we hope it stays that way!
Food Menu
While the outdoor bar doesn’t have food of its own, you’re just steps away from the Regal Eagle Smokehouse’s full menu. You’re welcome to pair your drink with items like:
- Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich
- Sliced Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich
- Memphis Dry-Rub Pork Ribs
- Seasoned Fries or Macaroni & Cheese
Grab your drink at the bar, mobile order your food inside, and enjoy the best of both worlds from a shady spot nearby. That’s how we roll!
Reservations
No reservations are needed here! This is a walk-up bar, and most guests are served fairly quickly, even during peak hours, though there typically is a queue. Just note that during EPCOT festivals or major dining times, the line may grow, but it tends to move fast.
Wrap-Up
The Regal Eagle Smokehouse Outdoor Bar may be small, but it’s mighty—especially if you’re chasing down the legendary Moonshine Sour. Whether you’re strolling World Showcase, cooling off mid-day, or winding down before the fireworks, this patriotic bar is a must-stop for flavorful sips and easy vibes.
