There are dozens of restaurants in Disney Springs to choose from, all with different themes, cuisines, and audiences. Use our guide to help you choose what restaurants are perfect for your family!
Best Restaurant for Young Children
T-Rex
Taking children to restaurants can be stressful! They get bored, they get picky, and then you feel like you have to rush out. Not fun. T-Rex restaurant is a game changer for family vacations! As you can imagine, this is a dinosaur themed restaurant. The theming is over the top with sounds, and ambience. Our favorite room was the glacier room where the walls appear to be ice and over time they change colors to represent the ice age and meltdown.
There can be some scary moments if your children are especially skittish. You will hear roars and thunder.
Food is another win for dining with children. The food is simple American food. Think, Applebees style cuisine. There are chicken fingers, burgers, as well as simple chicken and steak dishes.
Best Restaurant for Date Night
Raglan Road
You’re on vacation! Take time for yourselves as a couple with a Date Night! Raglan Road is a great spot for couples to get an authentic Irish meal, but wait! If you go in the evening you will be treated to Irish step entertainment. Dancers for the Riverdance Group will come out and dance on stage and tables to wonderful Irish music. This restaurant is full of life and fun! It’s not a quiet romantic type of place. This is a place for couples that are looking to enjoy the evening and each other.
Not really into bangers and mash or fish and chips? No problem. You can also find a great selection of burgers and chicken sandwiches.
Best Restaurant for Picky Eaters
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
We all know that person. Or maybe you are that person! You know the type. Suuuuper picky. So picky that it’s hard to pick restaurants for a group. Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ is American comfort food for the soul. Chef Art Smith is Oprah’s former personal chef and is famous for his fried chicken. Find me one person on this planet who hates comfort food like fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, and biscuits. I dare you.
Best Restaurant for Movie Buffs
Planet Hollywood
Let us explain! We know that a lot of websites put Planet Hollywood on their worst restaurant lists, but we’re here to tell you for the right audience, this place is great! This multi floor restaurant doubles as a museum for movie costumes and props!
Feel free to get up from your seat and walk around the place to see your favorite films’ pieces! You will see things like, the haunted shrimp from Beetlejuice, paint cans and bricks from the Home Alone movies, robe and shorts from the Italian Stallion himself, Rocky Balboa, the jersey and hockey stick from Happy Gilmore, and the piece de resistance… THE DOOR FROM TITANIC. See for yourself that Jack could have totally fit with Rose. Or could he?
People have been very critical for Planet Hollywood for their food. We’re here to tell you it’s a tourist restaurant done well. There is nothing new, wild, or super exciting on the menu. The food is basically burgers, chicken fingers, and other pub style food, and the drinks are simple sweet cocktails, as well. They even come with a souvenir glass! This restaurant is a great choice for a group who love movies and want to have a full tourist experience.
Overall Best Restaurant in Disney Springs
The Edison
If you are looking for an evening that is as far away from Disney themed as possible, while being as devoted to the theming in ways that only Disney is known for, look no further than The Edison. The Edison is themed to a steampunk vibe. Steampunk is defined as a “style of design and fashion that combines historical elements with anachronistic technological features inspired by science fiction. The essence of steampunk is homage to vintage fashion with a modern, sassy twist”. When you walk in you will be struck by the combination of old steel gears and sleek modern lines.
The Edison is also known for their handcrafted cocktails. No bottled pina coladas here! The food takes classic favorites like salmon, burgers, or grilled cheese and plus them up with premium ingredients and artistic twists in flavors.
If the theming and the food isn’t enough for you to want to try The Edison, then maybe the entertainment will convince you! Get this… The Edison, which is on Disney property, has beautifully tasteful burlesque dancers after 9:00 PM. Yes. Burlesque! Dancers dressed in 1920s era hair and makeup grace the stage. Guests must be 21 or over to enjoy The Edison after 9:00 PM.

Salt & Straw
Are you an ice cream fan, but want to be adventurous and try new things on vacation? What about cheese ice cream? Or fried chicken ice cream? Or maybe honey balsamic with black pepper gets your attention? Salt & Straw has become famous for their obscure ice cream flavors that are made with all real and fresh ingredients.
PRO-TIP: It can be really difficult to commit to one flavor with so many types out of your comfort zone, so Salt & Straw has unlimited free samples!
Chicken Guy

This is cheating a bit since this is actually a quick service restaurant, but we love to visit for a quick snack of some chicken fingers or fries. Despite the name Chicken Guy, we don’t go there for the chicken… we go for the sauces!!! Chicken Guy is famous for having more than 20 sauces on the menu. You’re on vacation, go wild! Order all of the sauces! The one furthest from our comfort zone was the green Wasabi Honey sauce.
Marketplace Snacks
The menu here rotates and changes through the year to match the season. Currently they are the buzz of the internet with their 5 different Fab Five themed bubble waffle sundaes, but the absolute best thing we have ever eaten EVER in Disney Springs was last Christmas in 2021 at Marketplace Snacks. Last year they had the Peppermint Nachos, which was peppermint soft serve on red and green waffle cone “chips”, drizzled with chocolate sauce and topped with a piece of peppermint bark. We sure hope it comes back this year! Until then, we are counting down until December while enjoying our Mickey themed bubble waffle sundae!
