Three Wine Shops in EPCOT’s World Showcase Are Easy Places to Stop for a Glass
If you enjoy wine, there are three small shops in EPCOT’s World Showcase worth knowing about: Les Vins de France in France, Enoteca Castello in Italy, and Weinkeller in Germany.
All three sell bottled wine, but that is not the main reason I stop.
For me, and for many other guests, these are convenient places to buy a glass of wine from the country you’re visiting without sitting down at a restaurant or waiting for a festival booth.
Each has a slightly different feel and purpose.
Quick answer: Stop at Les Vins de France if you want French wine plus the largest amount of merchandise and browsing, Enoteca Castello if you want the quickest grab-and-go glass of Italian wine, and Weinkeller if you want German wine along with beer and liqueur options.
| Shop | Pavilion | Best For |
| Les Vins de France | France | French wine, merchandise, and larger-pour option |
| Enoteca Castello | Italy | Quick stop for Italian wine by the glass |
| Weinkeller | Germany | German wine plus beer and liqueurs |
These Are Wine Shops, But You Don’t Have to Buy a Bottle
All three locations sell bottled wine, and the size of the retail selection varies from shop to shop.
But if you’re touring World Showcase, the more useful feature is that they also sell wine by the glass.
That’s how I use them.
I fly to Walt Disney World, so buying bottles to take home would be inconvenient. I’d much rather stop for a glass, enjoy something from that pavilion’s country, and keep walking.
I’ve visited all three shops, with France and Italy being the ones I stop at most often.
Part of the appeal is personal for me. During my Air Force flying days, I traveled to Italy and Germany. Having a glass of wine from one of those countries while walking through World Showcase brings back good memories.
Les Vins de France
Les Vins de France is the wine shop in EPCOT’s France Pavilion.
It offers French wine by the glass and by the bottle, along with a larger amount of merchandise than you’ll find at the Italy and Germany shops.
There are also a couple of beer choices.
This is the shop where I tend to spend the most time browsing rather than simply walking up, ordering a drink, and moving on.
Ask for the Larger Pour
One useful thing that is not obvious from the posted menu: Les Vins de France offers both a smaller and larger wine pour.
The standard posted pour is 3 ounces.
You can also order a 6-ounce pour by asking.
The larger size is not listed on the menu, but they keep the larger cups stacked and ready, and I’ve been ordering wine that way for many years.
So if you want more than the small tasting-size glass, just ask for the large pour.
My Pick: Pouilly-Fuissé
My usual choice here is the Pouilly-Fuissé.
It’s a French Chardonnay from Burgundy, but for me the connection is more personal than that.
It was one of my parents’ favorite wines, so having a glass at Les Vins de France always reminds me of them.
Enoteca Castello
Enoteca Castello is the wine shop in EPCOT’s Italy Pavilion.
The focus here is straightforward: Italian wine.
Unlike France, where there is more merchandise to browse, Enoteca Castello is much more about the wine itself.
One of its biggest advantages is convenience.
There is a small stand or cart out on the promenade in front of the shop, so you can stop for a glass of wine without even going inside.
That makes Enoteca Castello the easiest of the three for a quick stop while you’re walking around World Showcase.
If I simply want a glass of Italian wine and want to keep moving, this is probably the most convenient option.
Weinkeller
Weinkeller is the wine shop in EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion.
It has a different feel from the other two because the drink selection extends beyond wine.
In addition to German wines, you’ll also find beer and liqueur options.
That makes Weinkeller the most varied of the three if the people in your group don’t all want wine.
You can stop for a German wine while someone else chooses a beer or another German specialty drink.
Like the other two shops, bottled wine is also available for purchase.
Which World Showcase Wine Shop Is Best for What?
These three locations serve similar purposes, but each has its own strength.
Les Vins de France: Best when you want to browse, look at merchandise, and choose from French wines by the glass or bottle. It’s also the only one of the three where I routinely order the larger 6-ounce pour.
Enoteca Castello: Best for speed and convenience. The promenade stand makes it especially easy to grab a glass of Italian wine without going inside.
Weinkeller: Best when your group wants more variety than wine alone because beer and liqueurs are also available.
None is really “better” than the others.
The best choice depends on which pavilion you’re visiting and what kind of drink you want.
Do They Offer Wine Tastings or Flights?
These shops are not formal wine-tasting locations.
There are no current organized wine flights or tasting programs that you need to sign up for.
You simply order a pour.
That distinction matters because some older information online still references wine flights at World Showcase shops.
If you’re visiting today, think of Les Vins de France, Enoteca Castello, and Weinkeller as places to buy individual glasses rather than structured tasting experiences.
Buying Bottles vs Drinking Wine There
All three shops sell bottled wine.
If you’re driving home or have a practical way to transport bottles, that can be a nice way to bring something back from EPCOT.
For me, it doesn’t make much sense.
I fly, so packing bottles for the trip home would be more trouble than it’s worth.
That’s why I almost always treat these shops as places to buy a glass rather than retail wine stores.
And I suspect that’s how many World Showcase guests use them.
You can stop, try something from the country you’re visiting, and continue around the lagoon without turning it into a long dining experience.
A Different Way to Experience World Showcase
One of the things I like about these shops is that they fit naturally into the way World Showcase is meant to be explored.
You don’t need a reservation.
You don’t need to sit down for a meal.
And you don’t need to plan an entire afternoon around wine.
You can stop in France, Italy, or Germany, order a glass, and enjoy something from that country while continuing through the pavilion.
For me, that connection is part of the appeal.
The wines remind me of places I visited during my Air Force flying days.

Bottom Line
Les Vins de France, Enoteca Castello, and Weinkeller are easy to overlook if you think of them only as retail shops.
They are also three convenient places to enjoy wine by the glass while touring World Showcase.
France offers the most browsing and merchandise, along with the useful 6-ounce pour you can request.
Italy is the quickest stop thanks to the promenade stand.
Germany offers the most variety beyond wine.
If you enjoy trying wines from the countries represented around World Showcase, these three shops are simple, low-commitment stops that are easy to work into an EPCOT afternoon or evening.
