Part of the thrill of walking around the World Showcase is the authenticity of the food.

In our opinion, nothing gets more authentic than eating a hot order of fish and chips in the UK Pavilion, and you will be happy to know that you can do so without a reservation or breaking the bank. Insert Yorkshire County Fish Shop.

Menu

The Yorkshire County Fish Shop is known for its classic dish: flaky white fish coated in a crispy golden batter and paired with perfectly cooked, hot chips. It’s a staple of British takeaways (takeout) and a must-try for anyone visiting the park. What’s even better is that the portion is massive so you can share it with a friend or too, so you can save money to spend on what else, more food! Whether you’re a longtime fan of fish and chips or a first-time taster, this eatery promises a satisfying meal that feels straight out of the UK.

One of the shop’s standout features is its efficient service and easy access. As a quick-service establishment, you can stop by, place your order, and enjoy your meal without the wait. The outdoor seating offers picturesque views of the World Showcase Lagoon, allowing you to relax and take in the scenery while savoring your meal… Until the birds come.

Atmosphere

The only drawback to the Yorkshire County Fish Shop is that while the outdoor seating to the side of the restaurant by the water is beautiful and offers great views, the giant birds think so too and they have developed a taste for fish and fries! Don’t worry, if you get heckled and drop your food, Cast Members are really good about that and will likely bring you a new platter.

The Yorkshire County Fish Shop also offers beverages, including soft drinks and imported British beers, allowing you to complement your meal with a refreshing drink of your choice. Of course if you want a full British pub beer selection, you will have to make a reservation at the attached restaurant, the Rose and Crown.

Mobile Order

Mobile Order is a fantastic feature for Walt Disney World fans, providing a convenient and efficient way to order and pay for meals at various dining locations within the parks through the official Disney mobile app, and is also available for Sommerfest. This innovative system allows visitors to browse menus, customize their orders, and make payments digitally, reducing the need for long lines and wait times. Once orders are ready, guests receive notifications to pick up their food at a designated window, saving valuable park time and enhancing the overall dining experience. Mobile Order is a must-try for anyone looking to streamline their dining adventures at Disney World.

No matter how it is in EPCOT, it still feels necessary to enjoy the UK pavilion by talking in a bad British accent and enjoying a fresh basket of fish and chips. Cheers!
