Disney announces Armed Forces Salute extended until September 2012
Wow, there sure is a lot of anticipation in the air! Lots of people are holding off on making plans, waiting till the last minute to make those Disney Theme Park Ticket purchases, others are having to head off to their vacation and higher ticket prices.
I’ve heard through a couple of sources that Disney is waiting on legal agreements to become final before they will commit to a 2011 Disney Military Salute Ticket Offer. It’s understandable that they need to have every thing in order but, it’s also very frustrating to those trying to plan vacations, some after returning from deployments.
Jim one of our commenters has been contacting Disney lots (as I hope you all have) to let them know 1. how much we appreciate these offers and 2. how beneficial they are to Disney as well as the military community. He’s gotten a couple of good responses from Disney this one most recent where Disney confirms a ticket offer has not been cancelled, but they “…have no information until it has been approved between the Walt Disney World Resort and our military partners”.
So what to do while you are waiting? Contact Disney, be polite, thank them for the previous offers, inquire about a new ticket offer, and remind them what a win/win situation these offers are.
